The HR3 Fire Hose Protection Ramps are designed to protect large cables and hoses from vehicular damage, allowing cars, forklifts or HGVs to drive over safely. Each HR3 Hose Ramp offers protection for 2 hoses or cables with a maximum width of 76mm in diameter.
The hose ramps are made from tough, durable rubber making them ideal for use indoors in warehouses or factories or outdoors in car parks or company premises. The ramps are modular, clicking together easily with ‘dog-bone’ connectors. Join them end on end to cover the necessary area.
The ramp is fitted with reflective strips on both sides warning oncoming traffic. The 84mm high ramp slows vehicles down to approximately 5mph. It is recommended that appropriate warning signage is also used to alert drivers to the ramps and to encourage them to slow down. Continual high speed will cause the ramp to fail and become a safety issue.
