The Heavy Duty Wheel Chock is specifically designed for vehicles with wide tyres, such as diggers, tractors and HGVs. The wide wheel chock can offer more support to these vehicles than alternative chocks. The solid rubber construction is heavy duty and will not rot, rust or crack over time.
The wheel chock rests against the wheels of the vehicle, stopping it from shifting or moving when not in use. Chocks are commonly used on slopes to prevent the vehicle from rolling or on flat surfaces as an extra safety measure. The ribbed surface of the wheel chock grips the wheels and stops any movement.
The Heavy Duty chock can hold a max load of up to 40 tonnes, ideal for long term use with large vehicles.
A 16mm hole is drilled through the chock, to allow for a rope or handle to be inserted. These are optional accessories – contact the sales team for more information.
