The HGV Heavy Duty Wheel Stop is a highly durable, highly effective parking kerb that is ideal for use in areas where HGV and truck traffic is frequent. These rubber wheel stops are excellent at marking areas in parking bays or spaces and help drivers to park correctly.

The truck wheel stops' tough recycled rubber design allows them to withstand day-to-day wear and tear while installed, making them ideal for most HGVs and large trucks. This rigid design also helps stop lorries and other vehicles from driving into areas where pedestrians, infrastructure, or other vehicles are situated. The shorter side of the wheel stops allows truck wheels to rest on the surface while they're parked, while the longer rear side allows trucks to drive back over the wheel stop if it bypasses it.

Each HGV wheel stop is fitted with a 50mm yellow strip and yellow glass bead reflectors. These markings are moulded into the wheel stop and not stuck on with glue like cheaper alternatives, providing longer-lasting visibility. These provide excellent visibility of the kerb while it's in place.

How the heavy-duty HGV wheel stops work

The wheel stop will bring the trucks to a halt within the parking bay. The driver will feel the physical bump caused by the kerb and indicate where to stop.

The kerb has been designed with a more gradual slope on the rear of the unit. This allows the driver to reverse the vehicle back over the wheel stop, reducing vehicles becoming trapped or stranded. Available in alternate sizes for LGVs, coaches and buses. Call our sales team for more information on LGV and HGV wheel stops.
